A velvet &
dream-like glow
Kashmir sapphires are among the rarest and most beautiful gemstones in the world. Mined in a remote and virtually inaccessible part of the Himalayas in the late 19th century, they are considered a collector’s dream. Possessing unique, needle-like inclusions known as silk, Kashmir Sapphires enjoy a velvet and dream-like glow.
To own a Kashmir sapphire is to own a piece of history.

True Provenance
The Kashmir mines were exhausted long ago. Infact, they haven't been mined in more than a century. That should tell you something about a Kashmir sapphire's rarity and value. But, being a Kashmir sapphire is not an assurance of quality, only an assurance of origin. Expert guidance is required to understand the difference.

Rare
& beautiful
A soft, dream like quality can be observed in the unique way these exceptional sapphires glow, due to fine needle-like inclusions known as silk. Since the mine's depletion in 1887, top quality Kashmir sapphires are among the rarest and most beautiful of all gemstones, since the finite number in circulation all come from this limited period of discovery more than 100 years ago.
